Was just wondering if a Sunday class was being considered?I would love to attend a class during week but because of work I am unable too.Hope a Sunday class can be added.Thanks.
Yes Heather we are. A Sunday class is on our radar. We’re still getting organized and hope to expand to more classes as soon as possible. Thanks for taking the time to inquire.
ted
Thank You for quick reply.I look forward to joining.
I am thinking of starting. For a beginner how many days a week should I do to really feel/ see results?
You’ll see results in the first class. It may only be that you sleep better that night, but what’s that worth? I tell people for good results, two to three times per week. For life changing results, five to six.
Ted
Do you all take cards or just cash?
Can’t wait to check it out!
We do take plastic. We have the square system and it’s very easy.
Ted
Are you looking for any office staff?
I’m sorry to say we are not. We just opened and so far we’re able to handle the day to day stuff.
Ted
Hi, just wondering about beginners, I have never taken a class but was wondering if
I could? I have very bad back(disc prob)and bad joints, knees & shoulders? I would like to be flexible
again!
Thanks, Marilyn
Please try a class. Your best bet would be our Tuesday Thursday 9 a.m. classes with Tina or Martha. If that doesn’t work, do come, but please let the teacher know your issues. We’ll do our best to take care of you.
Ted
Any idea of when a Sun class will be added?Would love to take classes.
We hope to offer a Sunday class soon. Please be patient while everything develops.
It would be great if an early morning class were offered, something starting before 6:45. Not a lot of studios offer early morning options for people who work standard business hours. Those that do (that I’ve found) are heated classes and not what I’m looking for.
Our schedule will evolve in time. We do have someone who is willing to teach an early morning class.
Looking forward to it!
I went to the 6:30am classes a few times but it was too difficult for me to get to work on time afterward. Unfortunately 6am is probably the latest I could attend a morning class. Sorry your early classes didn’t work out but hopefully you all have something in the future.
We are adding two 6:30 am classes Tuesdays and Thursdays starting 9/22.
Hello! So do you all have a 6:30am class now? It doesn’t say on the schedule. Thanks!
No. If a class isn’t listed on the schedule, that means it doesn’t exist.
Hi!
I, like Marilyn above, have never taken a class. I am considering it though. I definitely need more flexibility and health improvement. Since I work full-time, I would need to do the evening or Saturday class. I know the area, and was wondering where you would recommend parking for those time frames?
Thank you,
Patricia
Parking is always interesting- I find that there is generally space on Indiana, or if the Lyric lot is open you can park across the street.
Hi, I was curious about classes for advanced students. I’m looking to maintain a solid foundation, but to also to continue building on arm balances, inversions, and fun transitions. Are any of the classes oriented towards these types of things? Please let me know. Thank you!
Our classes at YogaLab are All-level classes. Meaning, we never know who may be in class any given session. We offer more advanced classes at our other studio, Spirit House Yoga where we do work on more challenging poses. We will teach these poses at YogaLab, but only if appropriate.
Hi there!
I was wondering what makes the classes different from one another other than times and instructors?
I’ve only been practicing for a few months and I’ve heard of all sorts of different classes like vinyasa or power yoga.
Live super close, can’t wait to come to a class!
All that really makes our classes different from one to the other are the instructors and who is in class. We try to teach to who is actually in the class. We do our best to make each class work for everyone.
Sorry if I am missing it somewhere, but how much do classes cost?
Also, how early should we show up before class?
Thanks!
All classes are $6. We have a pay-it-forward program if you don’t have $6. 10 to 15 minutes is optimal before class. Hopefully the teacher will be there.
Do you have mats available to rent or borrow for classes?
Yes we have mats that you may use.
Is childcare available?
Sorry, we do not provide childcare.
Hello, I have a three year old that loves yoga, is there an age limit on who can join the class?
14 is a reasonable age. Three years is far too young to bring into a public class.
Will any classes be canceled for the New Year holiday?
All classes New Year’s day are cancelled. Martha will teach the 9 a.m. class New Years eve morning, Thursday. We try to use our facebook page to notify people. If you haven’t liked us on facebook, please do so.
Will you add Class descriptions? Are they all the same type? (Beginner) I look forward to joining you someday!
Every class is an ALL LEVEL class. Beginners are encouraged to jump in. Do your best and you’ll be just fine.
